Welcome to Cozy She Wrote.

I’m Cielle Kenner. I’m an author, but before I started writing my own cozy mysteries, I was a reader, first and foremost.

I grew up with Nancy Drew, Encyclopedia Brown, and Trixie Belden. When my children were small, I turned every stroll through the neighborhood into a side quest at the used bookstore. And when Kindles came out, I decided ebooks might be the single greatest invention in the history of humankind. Not that my house isn’t filled with print books, too, but at least the pile on my nightstand is more manageable now.

I still read myself to sleep every night, even though it’s completely counterproductive. Most cozy mysteries keep me awake for hours. I can’t get enough of clever sleuths, nosy neighbors, and killers who almost get away with murder.

Here on Cozy She Wrote, I share the books that keep me turning pages. Some are new releases. Some are older discoveries worth bringing back into the spotlight. All of them earned a place here because they pulled me into a story world with characters I couldn’t forget.
